I am not rich and don't have a big fancy work shop like you see on a lot of youtube video's. They have all the big power tools and nice flat area, most are big open space heaps of room to move. I on the other hand have a, well, I work out of a basement under 96 year old house on a hill. I have only just been able to get part of it leveled and concreted...
I have to work around house piles which can make things interesting and fun at the same time, and sometimes damn annoying. Everything is a work in progress, but i can get things done.
The thing is things get moved around while the place is being renovated and till I can work out the best space for every thing.
Believe it or not this is our old batheroom vanity unit. I took top off it add two layers of MDF and it is now my main assembly bench. I added the router jig to the end of the bench with removable fence. This is before the french cleat and the hanging power plug was installed
This is a small DIY table saw. I will be upgrading to a contractor saw but nothing bigger will fit. You can also see the house piles I have to work around. If I am cutting a wider piece I can move the saw and use the main work benche as an off feed table.
Also showing the french cleat system now hanging everything including the two pegboards and shelves.
