Hi, welcome to my corner of the world wide web or wackey wood working. I am not an expert nor do I class myself as a joiner, cabinet maker, or anything of the like.
This site doesn't just show woodworking projects, but it is also a blog of other things we have down around our house and garden.
I just like tinkering, and see what I can do and teach myself, I have done this all my life, from graphic artistry, computers (including website design ie; this one), wood working, music and what ever else I do...
I haven't done some of this kind of woodwork since high school 30 years ago and other parts like the building side over 15 years ago. So on that level I do have a bit of knowledge and know how. But I am so out of practise it's not funny. But the great thing about wood working is if you make a mistake, stop have a think about it and you usually fix it or in some cases yah mistake works better than the orginal plan (not often but it does happen)
Remembering how to do dovetailing by hand was funny. I have had two failed attempts, but slowly with a bit of practise I reckon I will get it.
This site is a bit of a diary of the various projects I have done around the place, from building and repairs on our home to making stuff, bits and pieces and things... A way for family and friends (and who ever finds this site) to see what is happening.
We did add in the garden work as Xaria has done a lot.
Best to keep eye on this site as it will be updated.

So far today I have planted some seeds and seedlings, dug in some stakes and put the half trellis on them, moved the ivory raspberry, moved one boysenberry and done a bit of a tidy up in the garden. Still to do - move the other boysenberry, move the orangeberries and maybe the red raspberries and finish making more tomato chilli jam. Back to work tomorrow for a rest.
